I’ve been doing some behind-the-scenes work for the newsletter, and am really excited about it. But I’m not able to write an actual newsletter because Harvey, our tiny toy poodle, ruptured his anal gland yesterday (which is exactly as dreadful as it sounds and involves sedation, a good scrubbing, and lots of antibiotics and pain meds).

After we got back from the emergency vet, Harvey and I spent the day being quiet together on the sofa because he was VERY NOT HAPPY about the situation. And then he spent much of last night being VERY NOT HAPPY about the situation as well. So I’m going to be napping, with a dog draped over me, for a fair amount of today as well, and will send the newsletter out—with the exciting updates—next week.
